SCC Partners is retained by multilateral institutions, governments, and asset managers to structure, analyse, and execute across blended finance, the energy transition, and platform development, bringing investment-grade rigour to the decisions that move climate capital.
We work with investors, sponsors, and institutions to deploy capital, build investment platforms, and establish investment strategies across climate and energy-transition.

Transaction and publication figures reflect the founder's professional track record across current and prior roles, in an individual capacity.
Inchan Hwang trained as an environmental scientist at Berkeley and Columbia, then learned to move capital. At the IEA he analysed where the world's energy money flows; on the founding team that built the Green Climate Fund's private equity and venture fund practice he helped design how concessional capital gets deployed; and at British International Investment, the UK's development finance institution, he led the investing that put it to work. Few have held all three seats, combining analytical rigour, structuring judgement, and execution. SCC Partners is where that arc comes together: an independent firm, delivered through a network of partners and specialists.
Engagements above were undertaken in an individual capacity and are shown as professional experience, not as SCC Partners client mandates.
SCC Partners operates as a lean platform. For each mandate, the firm pairs the founder's senior investment judgement with a curated bench of blended-finance structurers, legal and fund-formation counsel, sector specialists, and institutional relationships across Europe and Asia, assembled to fit the engagement rather than carried as overhead.
We are always interested in exceptional people: researchers with quantitative depth and a publication record, and investors with a real transaction history. We welcome an introduction at any time.
